HGV Class 2 Tanker Drivers (Days & Nights) – Skelmersdale
Due to rapid business expansion, we are currently recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers for temp-to-perm roles at our busy Skelmersdale depot. Successful candidates will transfer to a permanent contract after 12 weeks!
MMID is part of a well‑established international dairy company operating a modern, well‑maintained fleet.
The Role
Mainly farm milk collections with occasional reload trunking work.
Shift Pattern: 5 on / 2 off schedule (includes weekend work)
Start Window (Days): 04:00 – 06:00
Start Window (Nights): 16:00 – 19:00
Immediate starts available!
Pay Rates
Days:
Monday – Friday: £16.46/hr (Overtime after 47.5 hrs: £18.52/hr)
Saturday: £18.52/hr
Sunday & Bank Holidays: £24.69/hr
Nights:
Monday – Friday: £18.81/hr (Overtime after 47.5 hrs: £20.87/hr)
Saturday: £20.87/hr
Sunday & Bank Holidays: £27.04/hr
Requirements
Minimum 1 year Class 2 (Category C) experience
Tanker experience preferred (training provided for enthusiastic learners!)
Valid Digi Tacho & Driver CPC card
Reliable, organized, and available to work weekends
