About the role: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join our Redditch team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring customer orders are picked, packed, and processed accurately, efficiently, and to a high standard. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, this is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and thrives as part of a team.
What you’ll be doing:
- Load and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring all supplier deliveries are checked and recorded accurately
- Carry out daily and weekly warehouse activities, including:
- Binning
- Perpetual stock checks
- Daily and annual returns
- Service exchange processes
- Manual stock adjustments
What we’re looking for:
- Essential:
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment, or a good understanding of warehouse operations
- Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Outlook and Excel)
- Awareness of health and safety practices, including manual handling
- Strong team player with a positive and reliable approach
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
- Good verbal communication skills
- Manual Handling training
- Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence
- SPA or CSCS certification
- Experience using handheld devices or warehouse management systems
