We are currently recruitingHGV Class 1 Driversfor ongoing temporary assignments to join our busy depot inRaunds, Wellingborough. This role primarily involvestrunking and deliveries to NDCs and RDCs, offering regular work, competitive pay rates, and immediate starts for successful candidates.

Shift Patterns Available
- Thursday to Monday start time from 3am
Pay Rates
Days
- Monday – Friday:£17.30 per hour
- Overtime after 47.5 hours:£19.46 per hour
- Saturday:£19.46 per hour
- Sunday & Bank Holidays:£25.95 per hour
Nights
- Monday – Friday:£19.77 per hour
- Overtime after 47.5 hours:£21.92 per hour
- Saturday:£21.92 per hour
- Sunday & Bank Holidays:£28.41 per hour
Only30 minutes break deducted per shift
Key Responsibilities
- Trunking and RDC/NDC deliveries
- Vehicle checks and defect reporting
- Vehicle preparation and refuelling
- Compliance with WTD and EU Drivers’ Hours regulations
- Safe and efficient operation of company vehicles
- Maintaining high customer service standards
- Ensuring deliveries are completed on time and in full
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum6 months’ Class 1 driving experience
- ValidClass 1 (C+E) Licence
- ValidCPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- No more than6 penalty pointsfor minor offences
- Good communication skills
- Reliable and professional attitude
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance
