As a Panel Wirer, you will be responsible for assembling and wiring control panels to technical specifications and schematics. This is a hands-on, critical role that requires precision and attention to detail. You will work within a team to ensure that all wiring and components meet safety and quality standards.
Day-to-Day Duties:
- Assemble and Wire Control Panels: Follow technical diagrams and schematics to assemble and wire control panels to specified requirements.
- Conduct Quality Checks: Perform thorough checks on wiring and components to ensure they meet safety standards and technical specifications.
- Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues: Collaborate with engineering teams to diagnose and solve any wiring or electrical issues.
- Maintain a Clean and Safe Workspace: Ensure your work area remains organized and complies with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Participate in Continuous Improvement: Contribute to process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency, reducing waste, and improving the quality of work.
- Document Completed Work: Accurately document all work completed and assist in inventory management of electrical components, ensuring stock levels are monitored and updated.
