About Us
Ferris UK Ltd has a mission to bring real customer service to construction. Working almost exclusively in the insurance repair market, employees are part of a rapidly expanding team with an excellent reputation.
We specialise in working with clients to reinstate homes damaged by fire and flood, across domestic homes, schools, and Grade II listed buildings.
Our well-established Trades Division supports Multi-trades Engineers who often carry out large quantities of plastering, decorating, carpentry, plumbing, and other works.
Our multi-trades team often attends locations initially to guide the strip-out process, ensuring work is carried out sympathetically. After stripping out the property, the engineer will return to install kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, etc., as needed.
About You
As this is a hands-on role, we seek someone with experience across various trades disciplines, including:
- Ceramic tiling: floors and walls
- Plumbing: copper work and reinstallations
- Kitchen units: removal and installation
- Mitre worktops
- Carpentry: laminate flooring, door hanging, scribing architrave
Additionally, you should:
- Get along with customers and team members
- Be a key team player capable of working solo or in groups
- Have a desire to learn, progress, and help others by sharing your experience
Salary Package & Benefits
- £31,000 to £35,000 base salary (DOE)
- Full-time employment with monthly pay cycle
- Holiday entitlement increases with service (up to 5 extra days after 5 years)
