Our client is looking for skilled and reliable Sewing Machinists to join their team inKettering. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with practical sewing experience who takes pride in producing high-quality work and enjoys working as part of a skilled team.
The Role
As a Sewing Machinist, you will be responsible for producing high-quality finished products to the required standards.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Sewing a variety of materials, including:
- Leather
- PVC
- Ultra Fabric
- Felt
- Operating industrial sewing machines safely and efficiently
- Following production specifications and quality standards
- Ensuring finished products meet the required quality expectations
- Working alongside a team of experienced and skilled sewing machinists
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience using a sewing machine – essential
- Basic sewing knowledge and practical experience
- Experience working with different materials would be advantageous
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to produce consistent, high-quality work
- The confidence to work independently
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A reliable and hardworking approach
Flexible Working Available
The standard working shift is6:00am – 2:00pm, however, there is flexibility around working hours for the right candidates.
- Standard shift:6:00am – 2:00pm
- Flexible working hours available
- Part-time applicants will be considered
- Site operating hours finish at6:30pm
- No evening shifts beyond 6:30pm
- 30-minute unpaid break
