The Role
As a Leather Fabricator, you will be involved in the production of premium automotive interior components, ensuring each product meets the required quality and finish.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Fabricating and assembling automotive interior components
- Trimming and wrapping interior components using leather
- Working to detailed specifications and production requirements
- Operating machinery safely and efficiently
- Carrying out end-of-line quality control checks
- Identifying defects and carrying out rework where required
- Resolving production and quality issues
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship throughout the production process
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work and has a strong eye for detail.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience within an automotive or manufacturing environment
- Experience in leather fabrication would be highly advantageous
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to identify, rework and resolve quality issues
- Good communication skills
- The ability to understand and follow written instructions
- A reliable and hardworking approach
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
