Job Role / Essentials
The IT support and deployment technician role is varied and will include on the job training. Duties include:
- Call outs to go to site to help clients through setup or resolve issues
- Workstation support and trouble shooting
- Excellent diagnostic, problem-solving and analytical skills
- Basic Network and Internet Support including Associated Hardware
- Microsoft Office Suites (Office 365 Desirable)
- Typical IT Hardware Maintenance and Support
- Good written English and Grammar communication skills are essential
- Good telephone manner is essential
- Full clean UK DL, own transport is preferred however a company Van will be accessible
- Installation/ Set up of EPOS systems
- installation, commissioning & testing of various structured cabling infrastructure solutions, cat 5e & cat 6
- Preform troubleshooting of network connections and cabling within a commercial environment
- Installation of cable containment, trunking, tray work etc
- Hands on experience with common cable analysers
Tools and communication equipment will be provided
Desirable qualifications
- MCDST – Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician
- Other Relevant Industry Certification
- Full PPE & First Aid Training

Annual figure: £25,000 – £27,000 dependant on experience
