HGV 1 Driver -Glasgow Cambuslang
Glasgow Cambuslang Investment Park – HGV Class 1 – New pass Drivers welcome with previous class 2 experience.
We are currently recruiting for experienced Class 1 drivers for our depot in Cambuslang – Glasgow. The role consists of refrigerated deliveries to shops and stores. 8 – 15 drops per day, with Tail lift and cages.
Permanent contract for successful candidate.
Immediate starts for successful candidates.
Shifts patterns available
- Sunday to Thursday 10:00
- Sunday to Thursday 02:00
- Sunday – Wednesday 12:00
- Sunday – Wednesday 00:00
Day pay rates: (PAYE)
- Monday – Friday £15.87 (overtime after 47.5hrs £17.85)
- Saturday £17.85
- Sunday and Bank Holidays £23.80
Nights pay rates:(PAYE)
- Monday – Friday£18.13(overtime after 47.5hrs£20.39)
- Saturday£20.39
- Sunday and Bank Holidays£27.19
30-minute break deducted per shift only!
What we are looking for:
- In date DIGI and CPC card
- Enthusiastic, reliable, helpful and organised individual.
- Motivated and open to learn new skills.
- Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work.
Your role:
- Driving within the WTD and EU regs and rules.
- Prepping vehicles for delivery.
- Completing vehicles checks.
- Refuelling vehicles.
- The Driver must ensure that the highest levels of customer service are maintained on the round and orders are fulfilled on time and in full.
