We are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 1 drivers on a temporary to permanent basis to meet the needs of the business at our busy Crick depot. The role consists of Double Decker Trunking to RDC's. Immediate starts after successful assessment and induction.
Shifts available: MORNINGS, AFTERNOONS 5 days out of 7 (at least one day over the weekend).
Day pay rates:
- Monday – Friday £16.06
- Saturday £19.63
- Sunday and Bank Holidays £21.41
Nights pay rates:
- Monday – Friday £16.95
- Saturday £19.63
- Sunday and Bank Holidays £21.41
Day to day duties will include the following:
- Driving within the WTD and EU regulations and rules.
- Prepping vehicles for delivery.
- Completing vehicle checks.
- Refueling vehicles.
- Interdepot and RDC deliveries.
The Driver must ensure that the highest levels of customer service are maintained on the round and orders are fulfilled on time and in full.
As a person you will need the following qualities and experience:
- At least 6 months of Class one driving experience required.
- Excellent communication skills.
- UK Driving Licence with a Cat C+E entitlement.
- Digi & CPC Card.
- No more than 6 points for minor offences.
