A well-established UK-based distribution company is seeking a reliable and motivated Class 2 Night Driver to join its haulage team at a busy depot in Cheltenham. This role is open to both experienced and newly qualified drivers looking to develop their career.

In this role, you will support the company’s distribution operation by delivering goods to retail customers across the region. Working in a multi-drop, temperature-controlled environment, you will ensure deliveries are completed safely, accurately, and on time while providing excellent customer service and representing the company professionally on the road.

Key responsibilities:

  • Operating HGV Category C vehicles in compliance with UK driving laws, driver CPC requirements, and tachograph regulations
  • Completing multi-drop deliveries with correct stock handling and product quality
  • Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects promptly
  • Loading and unloading products safely using manual handling and handling equipment
  • Following all health and safety, food hygiene, and security procedures
  • Working independently while maintaining strong customer relationships
  • Providing cover for colleagues during holidays or absences

The ideal Class 2 Night Driver will hold a full UK driving licence with Category C entitlement, have a Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card, be physically fit and able to undertake manual handling, communicate effectively, and have a customer-focused approach. Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, and bank holidays is required. Newly qualified drivers are encouraged to apply, with full training and development opportunities provided.
