We are currently recruiting for Temp to Perm Full Time HGV Class 1 drivers for our depot in Bridgwater. The role consists of refrigerated deliveries to shops and stores, with 8 - 15 drops per day, using tail lift and cages. Immediate starts for successful candidates.
Shifts and Start Times available:
- 02:30 - 04:30 Thursday - Monday
- 02:30 - 03:00 Tuesday - Saturday
- 3:00 Saturday - Tuesday
- 3:00 Tuesday - Saturday
- 11:30 - 13:00 Wednesday - Saturday
- 11:30 - 14:00 Saturday - Tuesday
- 13:00 Saturday - Tuesday
Day pay rates:
- Monday – Friday £16.63 (overtime after 47.5hrs £18.71)
- Saturday £18.71
- Sunday and Bank Holidays £24.95
Nights pay rates: (6pm – 4am) All hours worked outside these times are day rate
- Monday – Friday £19.00 (overtime after 47.5hrs £21.38)
- Saturday £21.38
- Sunday and Bank Holidays £28.50
30-minute break deducted per shift only!
What we are looking for:
- In date DIGI and CPC card
- Enthusiastic, reliable, helpful and organised individual
- Willing to work weekends
- Motivated and open to learn new skills
- Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work
- 6 months continuous Driving
Your role:
- Driving within the WTD and EU regs and rules
- Prepping vehicles for delivery
- Completing vehicle checks
- Refuelling vehicles
- The Driver must ensure that the highest levels of customer service are maintained on the round and orders are fulfilled on time and in full
