We are currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 drivers for a full-time temp to perm position at our busy Bellshill depot. The role consists of deliveries to NDCs, RDCs and trunking work. MMID is part of a well-established and well-known international dairy company with a modern and well looked after fleet. Immediate starts for successful candidates and a permanent full-time contract.
Shifts available:
- Friday to Tuesday 10:00am start
- Tuesday to Saturday 18:00 start
- Saturday to Wednesday 17:00 start
- Friday to Tuesday 19:00 start
Day pay rates:
- Monday – Friday £16.63 (overtime after 47.5hrs £18.71)
- Saturday £18.71
- Sunday and Bank Holidays £24.95
Nights pay rates:
- Monday – Friday £19.00 (overtime after 47.5hrs £21.38)
- Saturday £21.38
- Sunday and Bank Holidays £28.50
30-minute break deducted per shift only!
What we are looking for:
- In date DIGI and CPC card
- Enthusiastic, reliable, helpful and organised individual.
- Willing to work weekends.
- Motivated and open to learn new skills.
- Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work.
Your role:
- Driving within the WTD and EU regs and rules.
- Prepping vehicles for delivery.
- Completing vehicle checks.
- Refuelling vehicles.
- The Driver must ensure that the highest levels of customer service are maintained on the round and orders are fulfilled on time and in full.
