This role is a 12‐month fixed‐term contract with a base salary of approximately £40,000 plus a £1,000 location allowance for Cornwall. As People Manager you will shape, drive and lead the people and inclusion agenda for With You's services across Cornwall, supporting regional management teams with strategic plans, coaching and development to improve organisational performance.
Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver the people strategy in partnership with the People Business Partner and the Head of Service.
- Lead the full employee lifecycle: recruitment, development, onboarding and retention of highly engaged staff.
- Develop and maintain a positive, inclusive working culture that supports outstanding client outcomes.
- Support investigations, disciplinary processes and complex people issues, ensuring timely resolution.
- Provide HR training for managers on performance management, sickness absence and other core processes.
- Analyse staff survey data, champion improvements and reduce sickness levels.
- Travel across the region as required and participate in regional meetings.
Qualifications:
- Chartered membership of the CIPD or substantial evidence of senior people‐management experience.
- Expert knowledge of employment law, TUPE, and complex employee relations.
- Experience as an independent HR professional in a senior role.
- Proven ability to advise and influence senior stakeholders through trusted leadership.
- Track record of delivering multiple HR projects, with strong risk‐identification and mitigation skills.
- Strong communication, influencing and organisational skills.
Experience:
- At least 5‐7 years of progressive HR experience in a senior or specialist role.
- Demonstrated success in managing change and driving inclusive culture initiatives.
- Travel flexibility to support teams across Cornwall and neighbouring sites.
