About the Role

Join us as a Team Leader in Wandsworth. Are you a compassionate and motivated individual who wants to change people’s lives? Our team in Wandsworth is looking for a Team Leader to provide high-quality recovery care to a diverse client group. At Wandsworth, WithYou works closely with lead provider, South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, and partners, St Mungo’s and the charity CDARS (Community Drug and Alcohol Recovery Services), providing free and confidential support to adults in Wandsworth experiencing challenges with drugs and alcohol. As a leading charity supporting people with drug, alcohol, and mental health challenges, we operate over 80 services across England and Scotland, supporting more than 100,000 people annually.

The closing date for applications is 1st July 2025. Please note that this role may close early if sufficient applications are received, so early application is advised. Candidates must hold the right to work in the UK for the duration of the contract.

As a Team Leader, you will report directly to the Service Manager and collaborate with other Team Leaders, Operations Managers, and partner organizations to ensure clear communication and meet service delivery needs, supporting clients to achieve positive outcomes. You will be responsible for leading a WithYou team to deliver high performance by meeting targets and KPIs, ensuring quality service and a supportive environment for staff. This role requires excellent leadership skills, confidence, and innovation. You will support staff in recovery work, oversee quality assurance and safeguarding, and manage competing demands and tight deadlines.

The position is full-time and permanent, with a salary of £30,390 - £41,700 per year (including a £4,000 Inner London Weighting). Managing and developing your team, motivating them to deliver exceptional services, and connecting effectively with staff and service users are key to success. The role involves handling multiple priorities, data analysis, and administrative tasks.

You will need:

  • ONC/NVQ level 3 or equivalent, or a commitment to complete within 18 months
  • Experience in health, social care, or criminal justice settings, working with statutory and non-statutory agencies
  • Proven management and team development experience
  • An understanding of issues faced by people with drug, alcohol, or mental health challenges
  • Knowledge of health and safety, including risk assessment
  • Ability to build relationships with stakeholders
  • Results-driven with analytical skills
