Main duties of the job:
- Our Recovery Workers play a vital role in supporting clients to identify their goals, ambitions, and passions.
- You will work with them to create the best treatment plan for their needs and to guide them on their path to recovery.
- This is a frontline role at WithYou, where you will provide continuity of care through effective partnership working, care coordination, key work responsibilities, and intervention delivery.
- You will manage an active caseload, connecting quickly with clients and ensuring they are always treated with respect and dignity.
This position is offered on a full time, fixed term basis, until January 2027. Occasional Saturday working will be required to meet the needs of the service. This role requires flexibility to work across Shropshire, including travelling out of county when required. You must have a driving licence, with use of a car, to be considered for this role.
Essential Skills:
- We are looking for a compassionate and motivated individual, with an exceptional ability to build meaningful relationships.
- You will have demonstrable experience working within the health, social care, criminal justice or other specialist setting, or a clear motivation for wanting to work in the drug and alcohol sector.
- A successful track record of providing efficient and reliable customer service is essential.
- You will be highly organised, have excellent communication skills, and be able to manage your time effectively.
- You will work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure a high-quality service is maintained.
