Our team in Redcar & Cleveland is looking for a Recovery Worker to join our Criminal Justice team in providing high-quality recovery care to a diverse client group. If you are enthusiastic, creative and passionate about helping others, we'd love to hear from you.
WithYou in Redcar and Cleveland is a free and confidential service for people affected by drugs and alcohol. The service is part of the THRIVE partnership, an integrated substance use, domestic abuse and education/recovery support service. You will be working within a highly skilled and knowledgeable multi-disciplinary team.
As a Recovery Worker, we offer a starting salary of £25,000, rising each year in line with our pay progression salary bands, to £30,000 per year pro rata. All applicants must submit a CV along with a cover letter explaining why they would like to be considered for this role.
Main duties of the job:
- Providing support and advice to people who are subject to criminal justice processes experiencing difficulties due to substance misuse and domestic abuse.
- Completing training in both areas and strengthening your knowledge of these key strands of our service.
- Managing your own caseload, working as part of our team and alongside other social care services to identify how we can help.
