About the Role
At WithYou Pharmacy Technicians form the heart of the Medicines Management team. The role involves hands‑on participation in all aspects of clinical operations, including harm reduction work with needle and syringe services, collaboration with clinicians and community pharmacies, support with clinical incident management and prescription handling, and daily medication of clients with OSTs. This is a full‑time, permanent role, working 37.5 hours over four days a week, with shifts: Day 1 – 13 hrs, Day 2 – 8.5 hrs, Day 3 – 8.5 hrs, Day 4 – 7.5 hrs. The schedule includes three weekend days per month.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer daily medication to clients, including OSTs.
- Support clinical incident management and prescription handling.
- Provide clinical operations support including harm reduction services.
- Collaborate closely with clinicians and community pharmacies to ensure continuity of service.
Qualifications and Experience
- Registered with the GPhC and holding NVQ Level 3 Pharmacy Services BTEC Pharmacy Technician or equivalent.
- Minimum two years post‑qualification experience preferred, full training provided for suitable candidates.
- Knowledge of substance misuse advantageous.
