Main duties of the job

Our vibrant services in Bournemouth provide support to people concerned about their own or someone else’s alcohol or drug use. It is an integrated drug and alcohol service delivering an asset‑based community approach to treatment, supporting people with drug, alcohol, and mental health challenges. We operate over 80 services across England and Scotland, providing free and confidential support to more than 100,000 people each year. Recovery Workers play a vital role in supporting clients to identify their goals, ambitions and passions. They work with clients to create a treatment plan and guide them on the path to recovery. In this frontline role you will provide continuity of care through partnership working, care coordination, key responsibilities and intervention delivery. You will manage an active caseload, connecting quickly with clients and ensuring they’re treated with respect and dignity.

Job responsibilities

Recovery Workers work full‑time (37.5 hours, Monday‑Friday). Salary ranges from £26,500 to £30,900 per year. Candidates must hold the right to work in the UK and we do not provide sponsorship. The role includes:

Qualifications
