Join our team as a Recovery Worker at HMP North Sea Camp. As a Recovery Worker, you will support clients to identify goals, ambitions, and passions, and work with them to create treatment plans. You will manage an active caseload and provide continuity of care through effective partnership working, care coordination, and intervention delivery. We offer a starting salary of £26,250 per annum pro‑rata, increasing annually to £30,900 per annum pro‑rata on our pay progression salary bands. This is a part‑time role, working 22.5 hours per week, including occasional weekend working, and is fixed‑term until June 2027.
Responsibilities
- Support clients in identifying and pursuing their recovery goals.
- Create individualized treatment plans and guide clients on their recovery journey.
- Manage an active caseload, ensuring clients are treated with respect and dignity.
- Deliver intervention services and coordinate with relevant partners.
- Provide continuity of care in a frontline setting.
Person Specification
- Compassionate and motivated with a strong ability to build meaningful relationships.
- Demonstrable experience within health, social care, criminal justice, or a related specialist setting, or a clear motivation for the drug and alcohol sector.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and time‑management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and support others when needed.
- Resilience under pressure and a positive, engaging approach to clients and stakeholders.
- Good oral and written communication and a comfortable use of IT and digital media.
- Flexibility with working hours on occasion and willingness to support other WithYou locations when needed.
- Ability to attain ONC/NVQ level 3 within 12 months or a willingness to do so.
- Experience of working in a health, social care or related setting and ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Success in safeguarding requirements – satisfactory prison vetting and an Enhanced DBS check.
