The Onboarding Volunteer will play a vital role in welcoming and supporting new volunteers as they join our anti-bullying charity.

What will you be doing?

You will help ensure a smooth and professional onboarding process by providing key information, coordinating induction sessions, and offering guidance through the initial steps of joining the organisation.

A core part of your responsibilities will include handling sensitive personal information in line with data protection regulations and supporting the right to work verification process for all new volunteers. This role is ideal for someone who is organised, and detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to confidentiality and safeguarding best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • You must have 3+ years HR experience
  • Act as the first point of contact for new volunteers, providing an informative welcome
  • Guide new starters through our onboarding process and policies
  • Share induction materials, charity information, and training resources
  • Support with arranging welcome calls, induction meetings, and training sessions
  • Help with setting up any necessary accounts
  • Perform DBS and visa documentation verification
