We’re looking for a Research & Insights Executive to join our team, playing a key role in delivering the social media analysis and research that helps shape the strategic direction of the agency. Working across two of our largest clients, you’ll sit at the heart of the team, turning data and social insights into clear, actionable recommendations. Our Research & Insights team delivers high-quality work across data, effectiveness and social intelligence. In this role, you’ll focus on data manipulation, visualisation and content analysis, uncovering meaningful insights that inform strategies across both owned and earned social channels. A strong understanding of the gaming industry and gaming culture is essential, alongside a genuine passion for social media, emerging trends and digital communities. As a Research & Insights Executive, you’ll support the day-to-day delivery of reports alongside fellow Executives and under the guidance of a Director. It’s an excellent opportunity to develop your expertise in We Are Social’s tools, methodologies and reporting style, while collaborating closely with teams across the agency. You’ll work with large data sets on a daily basis, so strong attention to detail and accuracy are essential. We’re looking for someone who is naturally curious, highly organised, and enthusiastic about the social and gaming landscape, with a keen eye for emerging trends, conversations and best practice.
What You've Delivered Elsewhere
- Produced monthly and quarterly social media insight reports that support strategic and commercial decision-making.
- Worked closely with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver clear, actionable reporting.
- Transformed complex datasets into engaging, executive-ready presentations using Excel and Google Slides.
- Conducted qualitative analysis through both automated and manual data coding to uncover sentiment, themes and audience behaviours.
- Contributed to social and performance audits for prospective and existing clients.
- Delivered competitor and market analysis to identify trends, opportunities and benchmarking insights.
- Managed multiple projects in different markets and deadlines in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
- Experience with social listening tools such as TalkWalker and BrandWatch, using boolean queries to monitor brand health and campaign performance.

- Strong Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables and chart creation.
- Confidence working with large datasets accurately and efficiently.
- A solid grounding in numeracy, including percentages, percentage change and basic algebra.
