This is a hands‑on creative leadership role for someone who lives and breathes platform‑native content, is confident leading shoots end‑to‑end, and brings design/visual discipline background as well as the ability to shape ideas. You’ll take ownership of content delivery, proactively contribute to business opportunities, and play a key role in shaping the future of our creative department.
You will be responsible for leading small and mid‑scale productions from concept to post‑production, working closely with wider teams to ensure work is culturally sharp.
What You’ll Have Delivered Elsewhere
You will have previously been a senior social designer, senior content creator, or senior social‑first creative who has generated reactive and proactive ideas, ranging from quick lo‑fi content to large‑scale productions. Led creative ideation, art direction, and craft‑focused execution in collaboration with Editorial and Production teams, capturing and editing content on a daily basis to create assets that feel native to the platform. Your portfolio demonstrates high‑quality, self‑produced social video content that is both on‑brand and entertaining. You have worked closely with designers and editors to push the bar with novel execution techniques across motion, filming and editing, supporting the wider team in extending “big ideas” into social‑first campaigns. With a deep knowledge of hooks, pacing, and transitions, you have a proven track record of creating thumb‑stopping work that cuts through the noise. Beyond the craft, you have thrived in taking ownership of work, creating client‑facing decks, and presenting internally and externally. Overseen multi‑disciplinary teams, acting as a mentor to upskill the wider department, and maintaining excellence across all outputs. You have consistently stayed on the pulse of social trends and consumer behaviors, demonstrating technical proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop) and mobile‑first tools like CapCut.

A proven leader who balances creative oversight with hands‑on delivery, championing social‑first craft across ideation, design, and emerging tech. Ideated simple but original ideas at pace and have the technical skills to execute them immediately. You possess a deep understanding of design disciplines including layout, typography, and motion and have the ability to translate complex campaign thinking into bespoke social executions. Proven experience straddling multiple disciplines, you are a conceptual thinker who can identify reactive opportunities and turn community management moments into creative briefs. You are comfortable developing your own ideas that hit a brand strategy and can sell them effectively in a deck as well as taking on briefs from someone else. A solution‑driven leader who takes full accountability for results. You will manage and mentor a cross‑functional team, introducing new workflows and fostering a strong team culture while staying focused on creative excellence. You have an understanding of analytics and how to use data to improve content, alongside a constant curiosity for the fast‑moving, social landscape.
