The Opportunity: Have you shaped the regional media vision, overseen all clients and led the paid media team across markets? Have you acted as both a strategic leader and a hands-on expert in paid media strategy? Do you want to connect creativity with performance—building integrated, data-driven frameworks that guide how we plan, activate, and measure media across platforms?
We are looking for an EMEA Head of Paid Media to join us and lead our growing media capability across Europe, UK and the Middle East. This role will shape the regional media vision, oversee all clients, and ensure our media offering delivers exceptional value for clients and drives business growth. You will define and elevate We Are Social’s media offering, acting as both a strategic leader and a hands-on expert, connecting creativity with performance to build integrated, data-driven frameworks.
What You’ll Have Delivered Elsewhere:
- EMEA Leadership & Strategy: Set the vision and strategic direction for paid media across EMEA, aligning with business goals.
- Commercial Success: Owned revenue and profitability for the media department and managed to agreed targets.
- Integrated Solutions: Championed integration between media and our other offerings around creative, strategy, and R&I to deliver full-funnel solutions.
- Client Partnerships: Acted as a senior strategic advisor for top clients, building long-term partnerships rooted in media excellence.
- Innovation & Best Practice: Driven innovation and experimentation (strategic partnerships, platform opportunities, data, and technologies) and defined best practices and standardised tools, processes, and templates to increase efficiency.
- New Business: Supported new business, consulting on pitches, shaping proposals, and developing media credentials and case studies.
What Else Are We Looking For?
- Deep understanding of multi-channel media planning and buying, across social, search, video, display, and emerging platforms.
- A proven track record in strategic scenario planning, audience management, and forecasting for complex, multi-market clients.
- Experience managing a range of budgets and optimising investment towards business outcomes (brand lift, ROI, revenue growth).
- Exceptional leadership and mentoring skills; ability to inspire, develop, and scale high-performing teams.
- A collaborative, entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for culture, creativity, and innovation in media.
