We are hiring experienced High Voltage Jointers to support subsea cable installation, termination, and maintenance activities on offshore wind and grid-connection projects across Europe. This position requires certified HV cable jointers who are fully approved by major manufacturers (Pfisterer, Nexans, NKT) and able to work offshore on rotation. EU and UK candidates are eligible.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Perform HV and EHV subsea cable jointing and termination (up to 66 kV and above) on offshore wind farms and offshore substations.
  • Execute terminations inside offshore OSS topsides, J-tubes, hang-offs, and cable management systems.
  • Support cable pull-ins, testing, protection, and commissioning activities.
  • Conduct offshore cable repairs when required, including fault-finding support.
  • Work closely with offshore supervisors, client representatives, vessel crews, and installation teams.

Required Qualifications & Certificates:

  • Valid HV Jointer certifications from at least one of the following:
    • Pfisterer (e.g., 3A / 3A Seanex)
    • Nexans (66 kV cable systems)
    • NKT (66 kV cable systems)
  • Demonstrable experience in offshore HV jointing or termination.
  • Valid right to work in the EU or UK.
  • Mandatory offshore certificates: GWO BST (minimum), Offshore medical (e.g., OGUK or equivalent).
  • Strong understanding of subsea cable handling, cable protection systems, and offshore installation procedures.

Location: Offshore in EU and UK waters (+ projects in Taiwan)

Contract type: Freelance / Self-employed

Start: ASAP (in consultation with client)
