Senior Social and Community Manager

Location: Central London (Hybrid, minimum 2 days in-office)

Salary: Up to £68k DOE

The Opportunity

As their Senior Social and Community Manager, you’ll lead how the brand shows up on social media and how they connect with and grow their community. You’ll be responsible for developing engaging content strategies, building creator and ambassador relationships, and driving advocacy that turns customers into loyal fans.

They’re looking for a creative thinker with strategic vision and a passion for beauty who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and work cross-functionally to deliver integrated campaigns that build brand love and results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the brand’s organic social media strategy across key channels aligning with wider brand and commercial goals.
  • Plan and execute the day-to-day content calendar, ensuring consistency, creativity, and timeliness.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver compelling campaign, product, and brand content.
  • Proactively source and integrate user-generated content into content streams to boost community trust and discoverability.
  • Stay on top of digital trends and emerging formats to keep content fresh, relevant, and resonant.
  • Measure content performance against KPIs and optimise based on insights and engagement data.

Community Building & Advocacy

  • Lead the development and growth of the community strategy, creating meaningful connections with customers and creators alike.
  • Launch and scale advocacy programs, including ambassador and nano-influencer initiatives, to deepen engagement and foster brand loyalty.
  • Organise and manage community-focused activations, including live events, digital meetups, and brand moments.
  • Partner with the wider team to ensure community insights and voices inform brand storytelling and campaigns.
  • Oversee advocacy tools and platforms to track engagement, UGC output, and ROI.

Influencer & Creator Partnerships

  • Co-create influencer strategies and campaigns in partnership with their PR agency.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with new and existing content creators who align with the brand values.
  • Oversee influencer collaborations from outreach through to campaign delivery, content approvals, and performance reporting.
  • Manage creator budgets and ensure influencer activations are fully integrated across marketing and retail activity.

Strategy, Insights & Performance

  • Set clear objectives and key results (OKRs) for social, advocacy, and influencer initiatives tied to brand awareness, UGC, and growth.
  • Use data to refine strategies, segment audiences, and improve content performance.
  • Monitor industry shifts, creator trends, and consumer behaviour to keep us ahead of the curve.
  • Deliver regular reports and insights to stakeholders, tying community efforts back to measurable business impact.

Leadership & Team Management

  • Manage and support the Community & Social Executive.
  • Represent the social and community function across the business, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and marketing priorities.
  • Champion a collaborative, inclusive, and values-led culture within your team and the wider organisation.

What They’re Looking For

  • Proven track record in managing social media, influencer, and community marketing in a fast-paced or high-growth environment.
  • Strong understanding of how community-building and social storytelling drive brand equity and commercial results.
  • Confident content strategist with platform-specific knowledge across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience scaling ambassador or advocacy programmes and delivering end-to-end creator campaigns.
  • Analytical mindset, comfortable setting goals, managing budgets, and interpreting performance data.
  • Skilled at building cross-functional relationships and aligning stakeholders behind shared goals.
  • Creative, proactive, and resourceful, ready to contribute ideas and make things happen.
  • Passionate about beauty, community, and creating positive impact.
  • Bonus if you have experience with platforms like: Odore, ShopMy, LTK, Dash Hudson, or similar tools.
