Package: Upto £55k+ Progression Growth + Hybrid Working London are – 2 days a week in office!
Overview: An innovative and fast-growing leader in the beauty and personal care space is seeking a Demand Planner to join their Global Operations team. This role plays a vital part in driving demand accuracy and ensuring end-to-end product availability across top retailers across international markets.
You’ll join a highly collaborative, consumer-driven organisation with beloved, award-winning brands sold across mass, specialty and online retail channels.
Responsibilities:
- Forecast creation: Assist in the creation, tracking and analysis of demand forecasts for new and existing products
- Promotional planning: Support pre-promotion planning and post-promotion analysis to evaluate effectiveness
- NPD Planning: Working closely with NPD and commercial teams to ensure accurate and timely launch of innovation as required. Spearheading all international innovation ideation as required with global teams
- Forecast accuracy: Provide weekly and monthly reporting on forecast accuracy, sales trends and key KPIs (e.g., MAPE & BIAS)
- Data Analysis: Analyse POS data and market trends to support decision-making and identify risks or opportunities
- Excess & Obsoletes Reporting: Lead the monthly reporting of excess & obsolete inventory for the international business, working cross functionally with Sales and Marketing to identify commercial opportunities
- S&OP: Participate in cross-functional meetings and contribute to the monthly S&OP process
You Are:
- 3-5 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain roles, preferably in consumer-packaged goods (CPG) or beauty/personal care
- Strong analytical mindset with advanced skills in Excel and exposure to forecasting tools
- Proficiency in Power BI for data visualisation and reporting
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple timelines and collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
- Passion for the beauty industry and a collaborative mindset
