About the Role

We are seeking an Entry Level Junior Retoucher to join INK's Art Department. This role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in 2D retouching, photography, and digital image creation, alongside a growing desire to learn key technical skills within CGI workflows and visual storytelling.
You will play a key role in producing high‑quality visual assets, supporting primarily still‑based projects, and collaborating closely with creatives across disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
- Digital Imaging & Retouching
- Confident use of:
- Layer‑based workflows for structured, non‑destructive editing
- Advanced masking techniques for seamless compositing
- Pen Tool Pathing for precise selections and cutouts
- Blend modes & blending groups to achieve refined visual outcomes
- Basic understanding of image cleanup, colour grading, and finishing for production
Personal Attributes
- Highly creative with exceptional attention to detail
- Self‑motivated, proactive, and collaborative
- Organised and capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines
- Open to feedback with a strong desire to improve and refine work
- Confident presenting work internally and, when required, to clients
Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Design, Digital Arts, or related field
- Work on diverse, high‑end creative projects
- Collaborative studio environment
- A website or portfolio (applications without a website or portfolio will not be considered)
