About the role of Claims Support Agent:
The Claims Support Agent will help claimants complete application forms ensuring information is correct and accurate and gives the claimant the best opportunity for a successful claim.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Support claimants on completing application forms
- Support the claimant face to face (possibly in claimant homes) or remote and gather relevant information
- Record accurate information on the form ready for submission
- Ensure the correct documentation is provided as part of the claim
- Ensure that you have a sound understand of the forms you will support the the claimant with, including eligibility
About you:
- Experience working with vulnerable adults through local authorities, local council, government or legal
- Able to demonstrate a high level of compassion and empathy, with a deep understanding of the emotional impact and trauma experienced by service users, and the ability to provide support tailored to their circumstances.
- High level communication both verbal and written
- Able to show empathy to the claimant and able to be patient and understanding
- BPSS clearance or ability to gain clearance is essential
