Growing Prosper's employer client list and product sales: building the pipeline, converting employer pilots into annual contracts, and setting up a sales approach that can scale.
Commitment: 3-5 days a week, permanent.
Start: January/ February 2027
Location: Remote, with potential for some days in the London office (Waterloo)
Company: Prosper
Prosper is an AI-native learning and coaching platform designed to help young people (16-24) build essential life, career and employability skills - at scale, with depth, and with measurable outcomes.
Our mission is to help millions of young people start a better job, faster.
Prosper combines learning science, behavioral design, coaching methodologies and artificial intelligence to deliver personalised, motivating skill-development journeys that improve confidence, capability and progression.
Prosper ran a prototype in December 2025 with students at Manchester Metropolitan University that saw 95% of users improve their skills and 89% improve their confidence, and it's Beta trial including users from Manchester Met, Lancaster University, the EY Foundation, and the Army Cadets is running from July 2026 until the end of the year.
One Beta user described Prosper as being built "for people who don't have that professional experience or those connections, to build the skills in a safe environment", and others report securing real jobs and opportunities.
Background
Prosper was formed out of We Are Futures. We Are Futures is a leading Brand & Social Impact Agency with over 20 years' experience helping major employers connect meaningfully with young people. They work at the intersection of education, employability, marketing and early careers, partnering with some of the UK's most recognisable brands (such as Sky, NatWest, McDonalds, Team GB & Paralympics GB, Formula E, Lidl, Duracell) and a national network of over 130,000 educators through our National Schools Partnership.
The Role
This is an opportunity to build and grow a team with global ambitions. You will be responsible for turning Prosper's employer product into sales. Reporting to the Founder and working closely with the Chief Product Officer and Partnerships & Project Manager, you will grow our employer client list, convert pilots and prospects into annual contracts, and build a sales approach that can scale.
Our 2027 goal is to bring in 8-9 UK employer clients. The focus is essential human skills for young people at all qualification levels - school leavers, apprentices and graduates - both in recruitment pipelines and in their first six months at work.
What you'll do
Grow the client list
- Build a pipeline of UK employer prospects across early careers, talent acquisition, L&D and HR teams
- Open doors with the decision-makers and budget holders who buy early-talent and HR products
- Create the sales materials and case for investment that buyers will take to their budget holders
Convert and close
- Convert employer pilots and prospects into annual contracts, building on evidence from our January 2027 test cohorts
- Navigate procurement, agreeing any product commitments with the Chief Product Officer
- Feed employer insight back to the product team through the shared roadmap
Build the sales engine
- Set up the sales process, CRM, and reporting processes
- Refine packaging and pricing based on what buyers sign for
Milestones
- First three months: pilots converted into first paying customers; pipeline built for the rest of 2027
- End of 2027: 8-9 UK employer clients on annual contracts
What we're looking for
- A track record of selling employer-funded learning, early-talent or HR products into UK organisations
- Connections across the UK employer and HR product buying ecosystem
- Detailed knowledge of how HR, L&D and early-talent buyers budget, buy and run procurement
- Experience building a pipeline and closing annual contracts
- Comfortable working hands-on and autonomously in an early-stage company
- Background in EdTech, HR tech, or L&D
- Experience setting up a sales process, CRM and reporting from scratch
