Are you an experienced Senior Marketer or Account Manager looking for an exciting new role in a dynamic creative agency? Have you got an interest in marketing or design and looking for a new role that will combine people skills with project management? We are looking for an experienced marketer to join the team as a Senior Account Manager; ideally with digital marketing experience and or an agency background (although not essential). You will have a good understanding of the principles of marketing, and ideally experience in marketing strategy and delivery. It's a great time to join, with some exciting new projects on the horizon as well as nurturing our current portfolio of clients.
The role is based on-site at our office in Norwich (however, initially, you will need to spend a min. of 3 days in the Chelmsford office for the first 4 weeks for training) with at least bi-weekly visits to Chelmsford thereafter. We are very accessible from all areas of the East of England.
Responsibilities of a Senior Account Manager:
- Senior point of contact for clients as well as internally for client services team and studio queries along with Account Director, Design Director and Digital Director
- Day to day ensuring processes run smoothly within the studio and that deadlines are being met
- Assist with workflow and process management.
- Overseeing projects in studio and helping both studio and client services team manage expectations
- Oversee multiple accounts, campaigns, and projects simultaneously
- Receive client briefs and objectives and deliver projects accordingly
- Working with the Design and Digital Directors to ensure creative work meets the client’s brand standards, objectives, and expectations
- Identify business opportunities and upsell services to clients
- Attending client meetings
- Build and maintain long-term strategic client relationships
- Regular check-ins with clients and ensuring that they are receiving good service
- Client relationship management
- 2IC for Account Director
- Foster a collaborative culture within studio and client services
- Act as a role model for communication, organisation, and client service standards
- Set performance expectations and support team members’ career growth
- Implementation and regular review of WOW
The person:
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role and are confident liaising with clients and building strong relationships with both them and the WAF team
- Good understanding of the core principles of marketing.
- Digital marketing experience of delivering website projects, SEO, analytics and social media is an advantage!
- Learning on the job and being proactive in the way you work and your ideas.
- Confident communicating with clients in person, on the phone and via email
- Articulate and numerate. The role will involve some simple copywriting, writing creative briefs and communication with our clients
- Organised and equipped to simultaneously manage multiple projects
- A people person and a great team player
- Able to handle ‘happy pressure’ – no two days are the same and it is a very quick and fast-paced environment
- Be involved with creative discussions and brainstorms – and not afraid to bring your ideas to the table.

Requirements:
- 3-5 Years previous account management experience (does not have to be in a creative agency, but advantageous)
- Project management software use in the past (Bonsai or something similar)
- Microsoft programs - excel, word etc.
- Good administrative skills, goal orientated nature and good communicator.
- Problem solver, proactive thinker and focused
- Need to be able to work at our Norwich offices full time, 40 hours a week with the occasional overtime (Mon-Fri, 9am-6pm)
- Previous financial responsibilities - billing, writing proposals, budget reconciliations.
- CMS experience is advantageous
- Marketing degree or equivalent is advantageous (past work experience in place of degree is suitable)
