Based out of South Wales with hybrid working, this role will require ad-hoc travel across the UK.
The role:
- Lead all commercial activity across Welsh apprenticeship and digital skills provision, England-funded programme growth, and a proprietary SaaS LMS platform.

- Manage and develop a geographically dispersed sales team of BDMs across Wales and England, including performance management and coaching.
- Own sales forecasting, pipeline management and revenue reporting across all income streams via CRM (HubSpot).
- Identify and pursue new Skills Bootcamp procurement opportunities as they emerge across English Combined Authority areas.
- Support the commercial growth of the provider's LMS platform, including cross-sell and upsell into existing employer relationships.
- Embed consistent sales processes, governance, and commercial behaviours across the team.
What we're looking for:
- Demonstrable BD or sales leadership experience in the apprenticeship, Skills Bootcamp, or funded training sector in England — minimum 5 years in a relevant commercial role.

- Proven experience managing and developing a sales team, including performance management.
- Strong track record of building strategic employer and stakeholder relationships.
- Experience owning revenue targets across multiple income streams.
- CRM proficiency — HubSpot desirable.
- Desirable: Experience selling technology or SaaS products in an education or workforce development context.
