A well-established apprenticeship provider is looking for a Childcare Skills Coach to join their delivery team on a permanent basis. You'll be working with learners across childcare apprenticeship standards — managing a caseload, conducting workplace visits, and supporting progression through to EPA. Blended delivery model with a mix of remote coaching and face-to-face visits.
The role:
- Deliver teaching and learning sessions across childcare apprenticeship standards, covering the required knowledge, skills and behaviours
- Conduct regular workplace visits and progress reviews, ensuring learners hit milestones and are EPA-ready
- Support learners with Functional Skills (English, Maths, ICT) up to Level 2 where required
- Coach learners to build their portfolio evidence throughout their programme
- Engage with employers and line managers to support learner progress and retention
- Manage a caseload of up to 40 learners, maintaining quality and compliance throughout
We're looking for:
- Level 3 qualification in Childcare or an equivalent relevant occupational qualification
- D32/D33, TAQA Level 3 Assessors Award, CAVA, or equivalent — or actively working towards it
- Functional Skills Level 2 in English and Maths
- Proven experience delivering and assessing apprenticeship programmes in a work-based setting
- Familiarity with EPA processes and government-funded training frameworks
