The Assistant Merchandiser role is ideal for a strong Merchandise Admin Assistant ready to step up, or an early-stage Assistant Merchandiser looking to deepen their commercial experience in a fast-paced, own-brand environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Merchandiser in driving sales, availability, and profitability
- Create and maintain intake and delivery schedules in line with business targets
- Produce weekly trading reports covering stock, sales, profit, and markdown
- Raise and ratio purchase orders in line with buying and delivery schedules
- Manage the critical path, keeping stakeholders informed of any supplier changes
- Own monthly rebuys and core availability to maximise sales opportunities
Skills and Experience:
- Currently an MAA ready to step up, or already operating at Assistant Merchandiser level
- Experience within fashion retail or apparel
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with data
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Commercially minded with good judgement and attention to detail
- Passionate about product with strong market awareness
