We're working with a fast-growing eCommerce business that's transforming how customers buy online. As part of their continued growth, they're now looking to hire an experienced Digital Marketing Manager to lead performance marketing, drive online revenue, and manage a high-performing in-house team. This is a hybrid role based in Chorley, offering the opportunity to make a real commercial impact within a scaling digital business. This opportunity comes with a company performance-based bonus.
The Role
As Digital Marketing Manager, you'll take ownership of the company's digital and performance marketing strategy, with a strong focus on customer acquisition, revenue growth, and ROI. You'll lead a team of four specialists and work closely with senior Marketing Leader stakeholders to ensure marketing activity directly supports commercial objectives. This role is ideal for someone with strong eCommerce experience and a proven background in paid media, PPC, and paid social.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver the overall digital and performance marketing strategy
- Lead a team of 4 direct reports across the Performance Marketing Team
- Own and optimise paid media activity across PPC, paid social, and other acquisition channels
- Manage budgets, bidding strategies, feeds, and testing programmes to maximise ROI
- Oversee eCommerce performance, improving conversion rate, AOV, revenue, and user journey
- Support promotional planning, merchandising, and on-site execution
- Drive SEO strategy in collaboration with external agencies
- Work closely with product and content teams to support seasonal and campaign activity
- Use customer and behavioural data to identify UX and CRO opportunities
- Manage, develop, and motivate a team of four marketing professionals
