Our client is looking for an Artificial Intelligence Security Researcher to join their well-established team and focus on their Defence & National Security clients.
Salary: £65,000-£85,000 + bonus + excellent benefits
Location: Hampshire or Surrey - hybrid
Security Clearance: Candidates must hold an active SC clearance. Existing DV clearance is strongly advantageous.

You will join a collaborative, multidisciplinary team tackling mission-critical national security challenges - helping customers understand, assess, and defend against emerging AI-enabled risks.
What you'll be doing:
- Conduct in-depth research into emerging AI security threats, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques
- Design and develop novel tools and prototypes that protect systems and inform customer decisions
- Perform vulnerability analysis, reverse engineering, and security assessments across a range of platforms
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to transition research into real-world capabilities
- Contribute to technical reports, white papers, and customer deliverables
- Present complex findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Stay ahead of the latest AI security developments and share insights with the wider team
