ROLE - Senior Quantity Surveyor (Education Projects)

COMPANY - A privately owned contractor with a network of UK offices and a turnover in the region of £900m. They operate across diverse sectors including education, commercial, residential and healthcare sectors. Project values from £20m to £150m.

PROJECTS - Working on education projects for the Department for Education across the Northern Home Counties and East Anglia. Projects are in Herts, Cambs, Beds and Suffolk at present, valued between £30-£60m.

RESPONSIBILITIES - As the Senior QS you would be expected to lead one of the aforementioned projects from a commercial perspective. You would lead a team of up to three surveyors on site and report to the Regional Commercial Manager. You would be expected to report on commercial progress once a month and will be involved in projects from sub-contractor procurement through to CVRs and final accounts. You may be expected to spend periods of time in head office working on 2nd stage PCSA.
