Our client is a well-established Cheshire based construction business that works on a variety of new build projects across the Manchester and Cheshire areas including luxury houses, care homes, and high end residential apartments. They are looking for an experienced, motivated, ambitious and strong Project Manager to lead a number of projects along with a team of Site Managers and Commercial staff. The ideal candidate will be capable of managing residential sites (luxury single builds and sites of multiple houses), have some care or education experience and also be capable of managing a mixture of other types of commercial work β warehouses, offices, nurseries etc.
Main Duties of the Project Manager:
- To be responsible for all aspects of the project
- To look after the client and provide a good service
- To ensure the sites are set up correctly and kept looking good
- To ensure all Health and safety plans etc are in place prior to SOS
- To drive the project and keep momentum going
- To ensure all team members are doing their specific actions and are motivated
- To produce the RFI sheet and contractors report and be present at each site meeting
- To monitor and produce programmes with team members
- To oversee quality, health and safety etc and provide comments to SM to action
- To ensure the handover is good and on time
- To assist the QS on the final account and any other financial queries
- To assist the QS with his duties, ie orders, subcontractor management etc
- To help push the profit margins and maximise every job
- Assist and work with the other team members, accounts and buying β we are all part of the same team so letβs help each other
- Treat your team like itβs your business, your staff, your clients β represent the company in the best possible manner
