  • FREELANCE SITE MANAGER – GROUNDWORKS
  • Immediate Start | Freelance Contract

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Site Manager with a strong background in groundworks to join a busy construction project.

The successful candidate will have proven experience managing groundworks packages, coordinating subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing groundworks operations on site
  • Supervising groundworkers and subcontractors
  • Coordinating excavation, drainage, foundations and external works
  • Managing site activities and ensuring works remain on programme
  • Ensuring all works meet required quality standards
  • Conducting site inspections and monitoring progress
  • Liaising with the Project Manager and wider site team
  • Maintaining strong health & safety standards
  • Managing RAMS and ensuring site procedures are followed

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager
  • Strong groundworks experience
  • Experience managing subcontractors and site teams
  • Good understanding of construction processes and health & safety
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Relevant Site Management qualifications/cards
  • Available for an immediate start
