- FREELANCE SITE MANAGER – GROUNDWORKS
- Immediate Start | Freelance Contract
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Site Manager with a strong background in groundworks to join a busy construction project.
The successful candidate will have proven experience managing groundworks packages, coordinating subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing groundworks operations on site
- Supervising groundworkers and subcontractors
- Coordinating excavation, drainage, foundations and external works
- Managing site activities and ensuring works remain on programme
- Ensuring all works meet required quality standards
- Conducting site inspections and monitoring progress
- Liaising with the Project Manager and wider site team
- Maintaining strong health & safety standards
- Managing RAMS and ensuring site procedures are followed
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Manager
- Strong groundworks experience
- Experience managing subcontractors and site teams
- Good understanding of construction processes and health & safety
