Small Works Quantity Surveyor Liverpool £60,000 – £65,000 + Package About the Role We’re looking for a hands-on, organised Quantity Surveyor to manage a portfolio of small works projects across Liverpool and the surrounding areas. These projects typically range up to £100K in value, including refurbishments, maintenance works, minor construction, and fit-outs. You’ll be responsible for running 3 to 6 projects simultaneously, taking ownership of the commercial management from tender through to final account. Key Responsibilities * Oversee cost planning, procurement, and budget control for multiple small-scale projects. * Manage subcontractor packages, payments, and variations. * Liaise directly with clients, suppliers, and site teams to ensure smooth project delivery. * Prepare valuations, cost reports, and final accounts. * Ensure commercial practices meet contractual and company standards. * Respond quickly to changing project demands and maintain a strong grip on costs and timeframes. About You * Minimum 3+ years of QS experience, ideally in a small works or maintenance environment. * Confident managing multiple concurrent projects with values up to £100K. * Familiarity with JCT contracts (minor works and intermediate forms). * Comfortable working independently and making commercial decisions. * Strong communication and organisational skills. * Based in or within commutable distance to Liverpool.
