We are working exclusively with a leading Tier 1 contractor with a strong reputation for delivering complex, high-profile projects across the North West. Due to continued growth and a robust pipeline of secured and negotiated work, they are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join their pre-construction team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute estimating professional looking to play a key role in securing major projects across sectors including commercial, healthcare, education, residential, industrial, and public sector frameworks.
- Leading the preparation of detailed cost estimates for major construction projects.
- Coordinating subcontractor and supplier enquiries and evaluating returned quotations.
- Identifying project risks and opportunities and incorporating them into tender submissions.
- Working closely with design, planning, commercial, and operational teams during the bid process.
- Mentoring and developing junior estimators within the team.
Proven experience as a Senior Estimator within a Tier 1 or leading regional contractor environment.
A strong track record of pricing major construction projects from £10m upwards.
Strong commercial awareness and risk assessment capabilities.
Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office applications.
Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline (preferred).
