We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Trades Consultant to join an already successful Trades and Labour division.

What is the role? We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Trades Recruitment Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will take a proactive role in managing the end-to-end recruitment process while fostering strong relationships with both clients and candidates. Anyone from a blue-collar or white-collar background will be considered, as will a hybrid of the two.

In the role you will be given at least two tier 1 main contractors on established PSL’s to account manage in the North West region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain a robust network of candidates within the construction sector.
  • Identify and understand client needs to provide tailored recruitment solutions.
  • Conduct thorough candidate screenings, interviews, and assessments to match talent with client requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Utilise job boards, social media, and industry contacts to source candidates effectively.
  • Stay updated on market trends and changes within the construction industry to better serve clients.
  • Manage the recruitment process from initial contact to placement, ensuring a seamless experience for candidates and clients alike.
Job Requirements:
  • Minimum 12 months experience in a recruitment agency, preferably within the construction sector.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and recruitment software.
  • A genuine interest in the construction industry and its job market.
  • Business development skills. Sales experience would be a bonus.
