We are recruiting for an experienced Fire Marshal / Site Supervisor to join a leading regional contractor on a flagship new build development in Old Trafford, Manchester. This is a short-term opportunity on a high-profile project, working out of hours to ensure site safety and compliance during non-operational periods.
Working Hours:
- Typical shifts: 5:00pm - 7:00am
- Weekend work available
- Immediate start
Key Responsibilities:
- Acting as the designated Fire Marshal during out-of-hours operations
- Conducting regular fire safety inspections and patrols
- Monitoring hot works and other high-risk activities
- Ensuring fire points, alarms, extinguishers, and escape routes remain compliant
- Providing general site supervision and security oversight
- Enforcing health & safety regulations and site rules
- Managing emergency procedures and coordinating evacuations if required
Requirements:
- Valid CSCS Card
- Accredited Fire Marshal certification
- Previous experience in a Fire Marshal and/or supervisory role on construction sites
- Strong understanding of construction H&S legislation
- Reliable, vigilant, and confident working night shifts
