We are currently partnering with a well-established and highly respected main contractor to appoint a Project Quantity Surveyor for projects based in Liverpool and the wider Merseyside region.

Due to continued growth and a secured pipeline of work in Liverpool, they are looking to strengthen their commercial team with an ambitious Project Quantity Surveyor.
The Role
As Project Quantity Surveyor, you will take commercial responsibility for projects from procurement through to final account. Reporting to a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring financial performance and contractual compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing project costs from pre-construction through delivery
- Procurement of subcontract packages
- Preparing and managing subcontract documentation
- Valuations, variations, and change control
- Cost reporting and forecasting
- Managing interim applications and final accounts
- Supporting risk and value management processes
- Liaising with site teams and clients
About You
We are seeking a commercially astute, proactive professional with experience working for a main contractor.
Essential Experience:
- 3–7+ years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying role
- Experience working on projects £5m+
- Strong understanding of JCT contracts
- Ability to manage subcontract accounts independently
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Desirable:
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management
- Experience across commercial or residential sectors
- Working towards or achieved MRICS (preferred but not essential)
