We Are Footprint are recruiting for an experienced Construction Logistics Manager to work on a new build industrial project near Sunderland for one of our key clients. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional with a background in logistics management within the construction industry. If you are looking for a challenging role with the potential for long-term employment, this is the role for you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the delivery and coordination of all logistics operations on site.
  • Manage site traffic and ensure the smooth and safe movement of materials and personnel.
  • Ensure that the project site is properly organized and all resources are efficiently distributed.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of deliveries, stock levels, and movement of materials.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely project completion.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Troubleshoot any logistics-related issues as they arise.

Key Requirements:

  • Valid CSCS card is essential.
  • Either SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) or SSSTS (Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme) required.
  • Ideally, hold a First Aid qualification .
  • Previous experience in a similar logistics management role on large construction sites, ideally within the industrial or commercial sectors.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and site management.
