Senior Quantity Surveyor – Residential Apartments | Preston
We’re currently working with a well-established main contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of a high-quality residential apartment scheme in Preston.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business with a strong pipeline of residential developments across the North West.
The Role
- Commercial management of a residential apartment project from start to final account
- Procurement and management of subcontract packages
- Cost reporting, forecasting and budget control
- Managing valuations, variations and subcontract payments
- Preparing and agreeing final accounts
- Working closely with operational teams to ensure commercial targets are achieved
- Supporting the wider commercial team where required
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor with a main contractor or residential developer
- Strong background delivering residential apartment schemes
- Experience managing projects from pre-construction through to completion
- Good knowledge of JCT contracts
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with site and project teams
- Degree qualified or equivalent (preferred)
