About the Role
As Design Manager, you'll be responsible for coordinating the design elements of multiple live and pre-construction projects. You'll ensure that all design information is delivered on time, aligns with project requirements, and supports cost-effective, buildable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the design process from tender through to completion
- Coordinate consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
- Ensure designs are compliant with planning, building regulations, and client specifications
- Identify risks, design clashes, and potential programme impacts early
- Support value engineering and contribute to buildability reviews
- Work closely with project, commercial, and planning teams to align design and delivery
