The Opportunity
We are working with an ambitious, fast-growing regional contractor delivering high-quality social housing refurbishment and retrofit schemes across Bradford and West Yorkshire. With a strong pipeline of secured projects and further awards pending, they are looking to appoint an experienced Social Housing Refurbishment Manager to support delivery across multiple localized schemes. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking contractor at an exciting stage of growth, with long-term work available for the right individual.
The Role
You will oversee the delivery of multi-measure retrofit and refurbishment works across occupied and void social housing properties. Projects will include a mix of:
- EWI / IWI
- Roofing & insulation upgrades
- Window & door replacements
- Heating system upgrades (including low-carbon solutions)
- Ventilation improvements
- Associated internal & external refurbishment works
You will manage site teams and subcontractors across multiple localized schemes, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Day-to-day site and programme management across multiple projects
- Overseeing multi-measure retrofit schemes in occupied properties
- Managing subcontractors and direct labour
- Ensuring compliance with all H&S legislation and company procedures
- Liaising with clients, tenant liaison officers, and housing providers
- Monitoring quality control and sign-off processes
- Ensuring documentation and procedures are followed across localized frameworks
- Reporting progress to senior management
Requirements
- Proven experience managing social housing refurbishment projects
- Strong background in multi-measure retrofit schemes
- Experience working across localized framework agreements
- Solid understanding of processes and procedures within social housing environments
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
Essential Certifications:
- Valid CSCS
- SMSTS
- First Aid at Work
