We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Assistant Site Manager to support the delivery and completion of timber frame housing developments in Congleton. The successful candidate will assist the Site Manager in overseeing the day-to-day site activities, with a strong focus on managing finishing works, snagging, and ensuring homes are delivered to a high standard.
Responsibilities
- Support the Site Manager in coordinating daily site operations
- Monitor progress of works, particularly internal finishes and snagging
- Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and trades on site
- Ensure that all work is carried out safely and in line with health and safety regulations
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain quality standards and address issues promptly
- Assist with managing site documentation and reporting
- Help ensure project timelines and targets are met

Requirements
- Previous experience in an Assistant Site Manager or Site Supervisor role on residential sites
- Experience with timber frame construction is desirable
- SSSTS or SMSTS certification
- First Aid at Work
- CSCS Card

- Proactive attitude and attention to detail, especially during handover and snagging phases
