About Us: A leading housebuilder with a strong reputation for quality and delivery require a hands-on Assistant Site Manager for a busy project in Bradford ASAP, supporting the Site Manager in delivering new homes to the highest standards.
The Role: As Assistant Site Manager, you'll play a key role in keeping the site running smoothly. You'll be responsible for driving quality and progress on the ground, ensuring subcontractors are on track, snag lists are completed efficiently, and homes are ready for handover in line with CML requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations on site alongside the Site Manager.
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to specification.
- Carry out regular snagging and de-snagging to ensure high quality finishes.
- Prepare plots for CML inspections and successful handover.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Maintain accurate site records and reports.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working with a residential housebuilder or contractor in a similar role.
- Strong eye for detail and quality standards.
- Able to drive performance and maintain positive relationships with subcontractors.
- Good understanding of NHBC standards and CML processes.
- SMSTS or SSSTS, CSCS Card, and First Aid certification (preferred).
- Motivated, proactive, and confident on site.
